What does my pet travel in?

July 14th, 2011

When animals are transported by air by road they are transported in a wooden pet box. When moving other animals like baby chickens you would use plastic chicken crates or cardboard chick crates. Larger livestock are contained in cages or very large crates. Dog boxes and cat boxes made from wood are relatively inexpensive and can be made up for any size pet – bird boxes are also custom made for moving birds overseas.

Wooden Crates and Wooden Boxes

Wooden Boxes and Wooden Crates are made in South Africa for many uses. These include cat transport boxes and dog transport boxes. In our range we make up boxes to move all birds from a budie box to a parrot box. Tea chests and toy boxes are also made from wood – custom made wine boxes are always popular. Made from laminated wood, these wooden boxes are strong and durable – If you need to move a special item overseas it is a good idea to have a custom size wooden box made for the item – this will ensure that the item does not rattle around the box. Wooden chests keep your precious items safe – and the sturdy construction means it will last through most conditions. Tool chest made from wood are beter than steel – they are easier on your tools and a lot quieter.
